The Brief:
Create a publication based on the given town (Queenstown) in Singapore and conduct in-depth research and photography to be included in the publication.
Queenstown, also known as the "queen of estates" is one of the oldest housing estates in Singapore with it being the first satellite town being built in the country. This town holds many 'firsts' in Singapore's history, and it is rich in culture and heritage. However, with our developing city, Queenstown's ambitious past is slowly being forgotten, with many of its historic buildings being torn down to make way for more developed HDBs and skyscrapers.
"Before Queenstown Disappears" aims to commemorate the memories and connections of this heartland town before many of its historic buildings vanish forever and to create a deeper love and appreciation for the town that started it all.
